A Breastfeeding doll????

Ok. hmmmm. I am not even sure where to start with this one. I am all for teaching our little ones about body parts and functions AT APPROPRIATE AGES but I think this one may be a little too much....for me anyway. Any thoughts???

  1. Hmmmmmmmm- that is really interesting!!
It's funny because my bff, wanting to make sure her 2 year old wouldn't be jealous when younger brother was born, consulted a child psych who told her to get a doll for her daughter and to act like she was a mommy, too. Her two year old (i think on her own) started lifting up her shirt and breastfeeding the doll when her mom would feed the baby!

  2. When I had my second child my daughter was 3. She started "breast feeding" her doll by lifting her shirt up while I fed the baby. We decided to not say much of anything about it and PRAYED she never did it in front of company. She stopped pretty quickly because she got bored of it. I don't think many llttle girls would even like the doll if it makes wierd sucking sounds like they article says.
