Trying to Lose the Baby Weight

I have been losing weight since giving birth 8 weeks ago. It is HARD. I still have all my pregnancy cravings and all I want are cupcakes, potato chips, ice cream, chocolate, pepsi and big macs. Mmmmmmm It is so hard to go into a store and not pick up a twix or snickers bar without practically going insane. I have noticed that the longer I have gone without certain junk food the less I crave it so that is good. I am allowing myself one cheat day out of the week though. I won't pig out, but I will allow myself to indulge in some sweets. LOL So far I have lost 24 pounds.

My ankles and knees took a beating with the extra baby weight so now they hurt like crazy if I sit too long or move around too much. I started Zumba for beginners and it is working out great. I want to lose 50 pounds so I am basically at my halfway mark.

HOORAY FOR ME!!

  1. Congrats on the weight loss thus far. You are doing great. With my first baby I dropped the weight fast as well. I'm hoping with this new one on the way it will do the same. I have gained around 35lbs and I still have 10 weeks to go. I will have to check out Zumba, but my plan is Walking and breastfeeding or at least that is how I lost it last time.

  3. Way to go on the weight loss!

    I gained 11-12 lbs while pregnant, and within two weeks of giving birth, I lost 35 lbs. Unfortunately, I gained most of that back, and am trying again to lose it. Boo.

  5. Wow Jessie Kaitlin. You only gained about 12 lbs??!! Lucky you! I am sure you will be able to lose it again in no time.
